For best results, keep garbage can lid closed at all times. The GARBAGEFRESH deodorizer automatically releases more fragrance on hotter days due to the heat build up in the can, so keeping the lid closed is important to cover up added smell from rotting garbage.
Installation Instructions
1. Clean a 3” x 3” area on the inside of the cans lid with the alcohol pad.
2. Take the black wire tie and loop it through the hole in the GarbageFresh tag and through the slots in the 1” tape tab locking the tie into itself.
***Do not over tighten wire tie, the GarbageFresh tag should be able to swing freely.
3. Remove backing from 1” tape tab and place it at the cleaned area of lid. Hold tight to lid for 20 seconds.

We keep our large roll out trash can inside the garage for easy access, but during the Summer months it's always stunk up the garage so I figured I'd try this product. It works as advertised by covering the smell. Instead of getting knocked over by the smell when the lid of the can is opened, now we get a pleasent perfumed type smell. My wife describes the smell like a fabric softener sheet now.

Took a shot on this product and it hasn't disappointed, still going strong after 5 weeks.
